For Sale is this Isuzu Bellett GT . It's a genuine one owner Isuzu Bellett GT, I think about 1966? Very few GT models were imported to Australia, from Japan. Estimate is around 300.

While based on the Bellett sedan, the GT is a 2 door coupe version, with a lower roof line, longer doors etc.

An OHV engine of ~1584cc features twin carbies (SU style) and a close ratio remote shift gearbox.

Other GT features over the sedan are full instrumentation, disk front brakes and rear aluminium finned drums. Suspension was up rated also.

The owner of this GT, sadly passed away after a short battle with Cancer and the car has not been driven from about Feb 2025 to October, 2025.

Barrie and his partner for many years spent 6 months in Europe at their 'Summer home' so the GT hasn't had a lot of use in probably the last 10 years or so. And fairly sparingly before that.

Around 1993, the GT was treated to a new coat of paint, new carpets and an engine overhaul. The muffler was replaced with a custom built replica in stainless steel.

The pictures below show the car pushed out of the garage as the battery was flat (may need replacing) and covered in dust from sitting, as Barrie was unable to drive. The photos of course don't do the car justice because of the dust.

I believe the original GT hubcaps are also with the car, but not normally fitted in day to day driving to maintain them in good condition. I will have to locate them in the garage.

NOTE: the grille shown on the GT was a 'loaner' and will be returned to the Club member. The original grille is included with the car but has had two holes cut into it, for fog lights, a bit of a 'fad' at the time I think. (I know I did it to my 1964 EH Holden too) With a little work it could be repaired with some new aluminium mesh, easily obtained.

This information is provided by me, assisting the widow with the sale.
