My 1930 Ford hotrod engine

The engine in the Rod is a (1996?) crate LT1 Chev second generation 350 cu inch (5.7 litres) V8.

1 piece rear main seal, nodular iron crank, forged rods, roller hydraulic camshaft, 1.94" intake and 1.5" exhaust valves.

This engine runs alloy heads with a reverse flow water coolant system to allow it to run 10.4 : 1 compression ratio.

Power output is reputed to be 325HP @ 5200 and torque 370 ft/lbs @ 3800 rpm

Anybody out there know if these figures are correct ?? Contact me Metric version, 240kW and about 510NM

The alternator bracket was re-worked to bring in the alternator closer to the engine to allow it to fit inside the hood.

Transmission is a GM T700/ R4, 4 speed with overdrive auto.
